Adam brings experience in strategic communication design, media research, message development, and press outreach. As a publicist for Straus Communications, Adam translated his passion for the green building industry into his work managing media relations for Sunlight Electric and the launch of the David Brower Center and affordable housing complex Oxford Plaza.
He played a supportive role on accounts including Scientific Certification Systems, Organic Style, and O Organics. For the last seven years, Adam has worked as an editorial and communications consultant for NGOs, universities, technology companies, and publishers including Clinton Global Initiative, Dwell magazine, Sustainable Industries, Plenty magazine, Condé Nast, Rutgers University, American Association for the Advancement of Science, Agilent Technologies, and NewSchool of Architecture and Design. Adam volunteers for food justice (City Slicker Farms), green job creation (The Ella Baker Center), and sustainable building projects (The Natural Builders, Bamboo DNA, Biofuel Oasis). An Oregon native, he lives in Oakland, California, with his wife and son.
